To be fair, I’m writing this at 8 AM before I head out for the long weekend. It’s entirely possible that the Americana Music Association (AMA) will release something potentially embarrassing on the cusp of a long weekend when people are traveling and not paying much attention. Of course, if that <em>is</em> what happens, it would indicate to me that the organization is not putting its best foot forward when it comes to accountability.
