This week, the Recording Academy announced the 10 recordings that will enter the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2024. Four albums and ten singles from a laundry list of legendary artists made this year’s list. Among those recordings is Charley Pride’s 1971 classic “Kiss an Angel Goon Mornin’.”

And when everyone came to the first Gay Ole Opry in April of 2011 in all their country finery, we knew we weren’t alone. We do it because we love the music and want to build a community to support queer country musicians.
